Checkout Frenzy

Have you ever stood in line at a store and wondered, "What exactly are the cashiers doing on that screen?" Checkout Frenzy takes that cashier job and turns it into a super fun online game where you get to be the one behind the register, running your own mini-mart from scratch.

Getting Started: Build Your Store
When you first enter the game, it's just you, a register, a computer, and an empty space. Walk up to the computer to order furniture like shelves, fridges, and freezers. Don't forget to order products too! Boxes will appear outside your store; go grab them and bring them inside.

Stocking and Pricing
Now it's time to get your goods in place. Dry goods (chips, candy) go on regular shelves, cold items (milk, eggs) go in the fridge, and frozen foods belong in the freezer. To set a price, click the price tag on a shelf. A slider will let you adjust the cost. Raise the price to earn more, but don't go too high over the market price, or customers will leave unhappy. Finding that sweet spot is key!

Open for Business
When you're ready, head to the front door and flip the sign from "Closed" to "Open." Customers will start rolling in. As they bring items to your register, click on each one to scan it. Check whether they are paying with cash or card and complete the transaction. Be fast but careful, as giving the wrong change costs you money.

Grow Your Empire
Once your store is booming, it can be hard to keep up. Use the computer to hire a cashier or a cleaner to help manage the workload.
